Mary Fowler joins Southwestern Child Development Child Care Resource and Referral as a Technical Assistance and Training Consultant. Mary has over 30 years of experience working in a childcare facility as a teacher and a child care administrator. Mary brings to CCR&R, 12 years of management experience as a Center Director and has spent the last five years redeveloping her skills as a preschool teacher in the classroom. Mary also serves as a Facilitator in the CCR&R Children’s Trust Program. She teaches both Incredible Years and Circle of Parents classes in Macon, Jackson and Haywood Counties. She holds a Level 11 on the NC Early Educator Certificate and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Birth-Kindergarten with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Western Carolina University.

Mary enjoys spending time with her husband Sherman and three grandchildren.
