 Quality Enhancement Specialist 

Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc. is accepting applications for a grant funded positon through Region A Partnership for Children within Child Care Resource and Referral. The Quality Enhancement Specialist position will provide technical assistance, support and encouragement to child care programs in the Region A service area to achieve higher star licensure and/or to improve licensure status and quality.  Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, BK or related field and two years qualifying experience in an early childhood setting. Applicants must have a Level 11 on the Early Educator Certificate, NC Institute for Child Development Professionals. Completed training and demonstrated competence with the Environmental Rating Scales required.  Applicants must have a valid NC Driver’s License and a car available for work.   Applicants with a combination of related educational and experience qualifications will be considered.
