Infant/Toddler Enhancement Project

Infant/Toddler Enhancement Project In 2004 North Carolina launched the Statewide Infant/Toddler Enhancement project to advance the quality and availability of infant/toddler care in North Carolina. The goal of this project is to provide specialized technical assistance to programs that serve (or are looking to serve) infants and toddlers. We know that infant and toddler care is challenging work, so the project staff are here to assist programs to create the most positive and highest quality infant/toddler programs possible.

Services Available
  • Promotion of Social Emotional Development for children Birth to Three
  • Provision of in-depth technical assistance using  Infant-Toddler Environment Rating Scale-Revised

The Infant Toddler Specialist, Vicki Cole looks forward to the opportunity to assist classrooms in proving care for infants and toddlers and to assist in increasing the quality and availability of infant toddler care.
